Mark Falsone is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of TechNexxus, bringing years of enterprise and ISP engineering experience with him. When we first began working with Mark, he was the Director of Engineering for the Internet service provider running our data center. We were instantly impressed with Mark's encyclopedic knowledge and great customer relationship management skills (he also ran the ISP's CRM) all while he was the lead engineer desiging and implementing the satellite and dealer networks for Chrysler and Dollar Rent - a - Car.
Mark had a true "trial by fire" when he was asked to come work with TechNexxus so we could save Cisco's IP address blocks, which they held so long that they pre-dated IP number portability. While it was certainly daunting to provide Internet advice to the same engineers and company that had written the applicable RFCs (Request for Comments which were the operative governing documents), Mark led the TechNexxus team and Cisco to a great result for all parties.
Since then, Mark has worked with TechNexxus on almost 100 transactions involving almost every conceivable type of technology. Mark subscribes to, and is a great champion of TechNexxus' approach to all technology -- we don't work with it unless we truly understand it and know how to use it. We've applied this philosophy to everything from the largest Delta Search Labs, HP and Silicon Graphics Supercomputers to parallel sysplex mainframes for the financial industry all the way down to RFIDs and nanotechnology you can't even see. Notwithstanding his consulting workload with TechNexxus, Mark also manages the TechNexxus internal technology environment, research and development servers, web servers and a wide range of extranets, intranets and other private networks.
