Often our clients ask us, "But, we have an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system like SAP, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards or Oracle in place -- why do we need to further optimize our inventory, yield or supply chain?"  The answer lies in the complexity of the question and the complexity and cost of ERP systems.  It simply costs too much, takes too much time and too much effort to get good predictive results from an ERP system.  Further, ERP's track record for delivering value is far from clear.  It takes bright people who understand your business coupled with bright people who understand analytics and optimization to develop truly valuable predictive information to executives.  That's why our clients have consistently determined that ERP systems do not provide anything close to our forecasting or analytical capabilities.

Well before the development of our Supply Chain Optimization Solutions, in fact well before the development of the microprocessor (but who's counting ;)TechNexxus consultants were working to optimize traditional logistics, transportation and freight operation.  This "hand on" experience has proven invaluable as we have evolved and optimized our processes to take full advantage of new technologies and client requirements.
