Utilities -TechNexxus consultants have worked with five of the largest electric utility groups over the past 12 years.  We have worked with these clients, and numerous smaller   electric, oil and gas utilities to improve sourcing efficiency, negotiate their largest and most complex outsourcing and technology transactions, refine their processes and assist the management of transitions and cultural change.  We have acted as consultants to the senior executives of these organizations developing executive information system dashboards that allow them to  stay on top of  key operations at a glance, and we have made these applications portable (e.g., streaming and flash to mobile devices) to make sure key information goes with them wherever they need to  

 Nuclear Energy -TechNexxus understands the quality control methodologies and processes, including SEI level application development resources, necessary to support corporations working with nuclear energy and radioactive materials. When our clients in the nuclear industry measure value, there is no compromising quality; however, that doesn't mean that they have to sacrifice competition or advantageous terms and conditions. TechNexxus has adapted its processes to ensure that our Nuclear industry clients obtain optimal quality and value.

We have also worked with our clients, the Department of Energy and operations and management contractors to use innovative technologies to assist the management of mixed radioactive and hazardous wastes in large drums at Hanford and underground at Rocky Flats.


Oil and Gas - TechNexxus consultants have closed more than 30 large outsourcing deals in the oil and gas industries. We understand the massive amounts of computational horsepower required to support exploration, research and development activities and the robust back office systems required to support these Fortune 100 business operations.  One of our first large multi-vendor outsourcing  transactions involved the Haliburton corporation, and their oil and gas exploration division Brown & Root.   TechNexxus crafted a joint vendor management agreement that tightly coordinated all supplier activities and responsibilities.

 Utility Construction -  TechNexxus has worked with major utility construction companies like Bechtel and InfraSource, the former construction arm of the Exelon corporation, to develop an efficient ERP systems and sourcing processes.

Automated Meter Reading (AMR) - TechNexxus worked with several of our utility clients to develop leading edge wireless meter reading technologies and assisted them to leverage these processes in broadband over wireline and other applications.

Real - time Supervisory Control Generation and Outage Management Systems TechNexxus has saved major utilities hundreds of millions of dollars by improving their sourcing of real – time systems, like SCADA, OMS and generation management. We’ve worked with all of the major suppliers, and worked with GE, ABB and Siemens to develop next generation products for our clients.
